AWJ (ABRASIVE WATER JET) TECHNOLOGY

A water jet cutter, also known as a waterjet, is a machine capable of cutting a wide variety of materials using a very high-pressure jet of water, or, when needed a mixture of water and an abrasive (granite sand). Jet of water and abrasive particles are striking the workpiece at high velocity caused by high pressure. Due to the exceptional speed and pressure of the water, jet can cut all kinds of materials of various shapes, thickness and hardness.

Soft materials (eg textiles, leather, …) can be cut only with water (without adding abrasive).

AWJ technology is therefore quality, precise and environmentally friendly system of cutting variuos types and shapes of material.
